When have they ever cared about us?
Unless it’s about the size of their own wage?
With people so deluded by money
How can we ever expect a change?
We are no longer priority
Our needs are being brushed aside
We need to break this cycle
We have to at least try
How can we act like nothings wrong?
We continue to evert our gaze
From the main problem that we face
The shrinking cliffs the rising waves
The stock prices may rise or fall
But the duty to our planet now prevails over all

That we now show more concern
